2024 AgFed CU Foundation Classroom Supply Grant Recipients

This year, we were proud to award ten school supply grants to some amazing educators! Here are some of the recipients and their exciting plans for the grants:

“First, I would like to say thank you for this award.  The money was earmarked to help with classroom supplies in the Art Room.  I purchased supplies for a project that students will complete.  Supplies such as hot glue guns, sponges, brass fasteners, models of fish, artist tape, contact paper and googly eyes.  Without this award of $100 my students would not be able to experience this project.” ~  Ms. Gannon

2022 AgFed CU Foundation Classroom Supply Grant Recipients

In 2022 we were able to give away twenty-seven school supply grants. Here are some of the recipients and what receiving the grant means to them:

“I am so grateful to be recipient of the 2022 AgFed CU Foundation classroom grant. I will be using this grant to continue adding to our classroom library as well as incorporating more flexible seating options for students to use during independent reading times. By providing this safe and comfortable seating option, I hope to encourage all of my students to enjoy and discover their true capabilities of reading. Thank you for allowing my first graders the opportunity to be successful! “~ Emily B.

“Thank you so very much for the grant for my classroom for supplies! I am a first-year teacher and this helps tremendously! My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”~ Candace M.

” As a school counselor, I work directly with 400 students on concepts such as listening, responsibility, conflict resolution, grieving, friendship, worries and so much more. I work with students in large and small groups, as well as individually in my room. I will be spending the grant on a few books for my room as well as a small speaker to play calming music when distressed students visit my room.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to enhance my classroom. I feel appreciated and hopeful for our students.”~Carole M.
